Eli Thompson #1

6'2 205lbs DE/OLB

Class of 2028

FR. Season Stats:

17 tackles, 3 TFL, 5 sacks, 1 PD

SO. Season Stats

89 Tackles, 6 TFL, 2 Sacks, 3 Hurries, 2 PD, 1 FF

Athletic:

Bench: 275 lbs

Squat: 465 lbs

Clean: 275 lbs

Bio: Eli Thompson is one of the most varsity ready freshman that LCC has seen in a long time. He came into high school as one of the strongest and fastest kids due to his natural talent and ability. While it is great to get someone like that at a 2a school it is even better when they have a second to none work ethic like Eli does. Since he has joined the LCC football team he has refused to be outworked by anyone. Eli spent the season jumping around positions on defense depending on  the game plan but found the most success for us on 3rd and longs as a pass rusher or QB spy. Eli will spend the next three years rarely coming off the field as Offensive skill and defensive box player.

Chase Hittle #13

6'3 195lbs DE/OLB

Class of 2028

SO. Season Stats:

22 tackles, 2 TFL,  2 sacks, 1 PD, 1 FF, 1 Fumble Recovery

Athletic:

Bench: 200 lbs

Squat: 315 lbs

Bio: Chase moved to LCC going into his freshman year and had to sit out due to a lower body injury. After his season sitting out Chase hit a growth spurt and changed positions to a DE/ OLB where he has excelled and quickly found a starting spot.  Chase started his first game in week two of this year and walked away with multiple sacks and TFL's. Chase Hittle will be one that continues to push the standards of Dline here at LCC.

Charlie Bapst #42

5'10 175 lbs ILB

Class of 2028

SO. Season Stats:

9 Tackles, 1 TFL, 1 INT 1 PD

Athletic/ Academic:

Bench: 170 lbs

Squat: 265 lbs

GPA: 4.1

Bio: While it might have taken some people in the area by surprise that Charlie became the starting ILB by week 2 of his sophomore year no one on our team is shocked to see this. Charlie missed his freshman year with a wrist injury and came back this year after a great offseason in the weight room and took a starting spot through his football IQ and willingness to compete.  While he might not be the prototype we have for ILB as a sophomore he has the ability to be this staffs first three year starter at the position.  If he continues with his work ethic he might also be the best when it is all said and done.

Jackson Sprunger #6

5'11 175lbs DE/LB

Class of 2029

Athletic:

Bench: 185 lbs

Squat: 255 lbs

Vertical- 25 Inches

Broad Jump- 84 Inches

Bio: Jackson Sprunger is going to be a defensive weapon for the Knights over the next couple of seasons. During his freshman campaign there were many weeks where Jackson would push for a starting spot or rotation spot for a game plan.  He has an elite motor, High football IQ, and work ethic that allows him to make up for his lack of size. Jackson will play on the Dline this year before making a full time transition to LB.
